CTGT Announces Comprehensive OI Diagnostics

August 23, 2011 - Connective Tissue Gene Tests (CTGT) today announced a number of new tests which provide clinicians with the most comprehensive testing for autosomal recessive osteogenesis imperfecta (OI) available.  CTGT now offers both DNA sequencing and Deletion / Duplication tests (HDT Array) for the following OI types and genes:

Osteogenesis imperfecta, type IIB and VII CRTAP
Osteogenesis imperfecta, type VI FKBP10
Osteogenesis imperfecta, type VIII LEPRE1
Osteogenesis imperfecta, type IX PPIB
Osteogenesis imperfecta, type X SERPINH1
Osteogenesis imperfecta, type XI SP7
Osteogenesis imperfecta, type XII SERPINF1

In addition, CTGT offers a DNA sequencing panel which includes all of the genes listed above.

The new tests may be ordered using the requisition forms on CTGT's web site. As new tests are added frequently, CTGT advise clients to regularly download the latest requisition forms from the Requisition Forms page on the web site.
