1. DNA Sequencing Tests

Connective Tissue Gene Tests’ many years of experience with sequencing approach combined with its extensive mutation and polymorphism databases ensure very high test sensitivity.

A. Sanger Sequencing

Connective Tissue Gene Tests strives to complete all sequencing tests within two weeks following receipt of a sample in the laboratory. Many tests are completed in less than two weeks and the actual average for all tests is ten days.

Connective Tissue Gene Tests makes every effort to expedite prenatal diagnostic cases. Our goal is to generate a report in one to two weeks.

B. Next Generation Sequencing

Turnaround time for next generation sequencing tests is typically three to four weeks following receipt of a sample in the laboratory.

2. Deletion / Duplication Tests

Turnaround time for deletion / duplication tests is typically three to four weeks following receipt of a sample in the laboratory. Results for the subsequent deletion / duplication analysis of additional genes or for add-on tests of the same specimen are usually available in less than two weeks.
