Connective Tissue Gene Tests was established by Leena Ala-Kokko, M.D., Ph.D. and
James Hyland, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Leena Ala-Kokko has had more than twenty years of research experience in the connective tissue field and has in excess of 100 publications pertaining to the molecular biology of various connective tissue disorders. Dr. Ala-Kokko is responsible for test development and oversees the diagnostic activities.

Dr. James Hyland has board certifications in anatomical pathology, clinical pathology and hematopathology. He completed two postdoctoral fellowships in connective tissue laboratories before attending medical school and has more recently served as the director of a connective tissue DNA diagnostic laboratory. Dr. Hyland is the Medical Director of CTGT.

Corrine Rennig, M.S. is the Genetic Counselor.

Justin Morabito, M.S. is the DNA Sequencing Supervisor and Jennifer Kush, B.S. is the General Laboratory Supervisor.

Stuart Baker, B.S., Robert DeNadai, Jordon Grube, B.S., Holly Kolesnik, B.S., and Sarah Schnader, B.S. are Laboratory Technicians.

Tanya Herring, B.A. is the Office Administrator. Janice Smith is the Administrative Assistant.
